The Cessna CitationJet/CJ series (Model 525) built by Cessna Aircraft Company was developed as a highly successful replacement for the Citation. These turbofan-powered light corporate jets encompass seven distinct families of aircraft, the 525 Citation Jet as basis for one of these.

There are two flightdeck positions, one for the pilot, the second for a copilot or passenger. The main cabin seats five or six passengers.
